Dear TMSA Families, May 5, 2024
I hope you have had a great weekend with family and friends and sharpened your saws. Here are your updates for the week ahead where everyone has genius and is a leader…
End of Year Testing is ongoing from now until the end of the year. MAP Testing for grades K – 2 will be this week. Be sure your student is rested and in class on time to ensure the best outcomes. Also, encourage your student to reach their goals, try their very best! We will be celebrating their growth and proficiency! Good luck to everyone! I can’t wait to share how all our hard work has paid off for our students and learning community.
Staff Appreciation Week is this week. Please share your accolades, love and appreciation to our staff for all they do each and every day! They are amazing! A flyer was sent home last week for some ideas if you wish.
Early Release Day is on May 8th. All students must be picked up by 11:50 AM or a late fee will be applied. Be proactive. Be sure to notify your afterschool providers or make other arrangements to get your student/s by 11: 50 AM.

Leader in Me Habit 3: Habit of Integrity and Execution
This is another habit that the students learned and applied throughout the year. Work then play.
People who put first things first focus on the important, not just the urgent, act on priorities, plan weekly and act daily. You are putting first things first when you organize your time around the most important things and eliminate the unimportant.
Those are your updates for the week ahead. Let’s make it a great week! Goooooooooooo Tigers!
Respectfully,
Mrs. Burke
