Red RibbonDear TMSA Community!

Please see the attached documents for information on our Red Ribbon Week celebrations next week! Since we are not all going to be seeing each other in person, we are going to celebrate with a virtual spirit week - each day has a different theme.

To increase participation, we are asking all homeroom teachers to nominate 2 of your most enthusiastic students each day to receive some Red Ribbon Week prizes! Please email your students to Ms. Washington and me. Here are the spirit week themes for next week:

Oct 26: Red Ribbon Week Kickoff - wear red to support being drug free!
Oct 27: Put a Lid on Drugs - wear your favorite hat
Oct 28: Too Bright for Drugs - wear neon and/or sunglasses
Oct 29: Don't Get Tied Up in Drugs - wear tie-dye, hair ties, neck ties, or simply tie your shoes!
Oct 30: Don't be SPOOKED by Drugs - wear your Halloween costume or a costume of character!

Red Ribbon Week was created to bring awareness to the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use. Together we can provide a united effort to maintain a drug-free school and community. Students and staff are encouraged to participate in theme days to support a drug-free lifestyle.

Please visit the Red Ribbon Week website for more resources and information!

Thank you all so much for the hard work you've done this year, we hope this will be a fun week for everyone. Please reach out if you have questions, and have a great rest of your day!
